Persistence / pSTAKE
Blockchain Developer & Researcher/Dubai / remote/2021–2023
Before Kura, Vedant worked deeper in protocol and open-source engineering. The centerpiece is pSTAKE Finance: decentralized token staking infrastructure, built in public, with real assets and real security constraints.
He contributed as an architect and core engineer on a staking service that, at the time of public reference, managed more than $8.5M in assets. The work is useful less as a crypto credential than as evidence of systems thinking in an adversarial, irreversible environment.
Staking infrastructure
pSTAKE is a decentralized token staking service: protocol-level design, open-source collaboration, and the operational reality of moving financial state that cannot be quietly rolled back.
Security monitoring
A security monitoring and alerting system sat alongside the staking service for hack response and system health. That work is about detecting anomalous behavior, responding to incidents, and treating observability as part of the product—not a dashboard added later.
Audits
The environment included collaboration with security firms such as Halborn and Trail of Bits: reading audit findings, communicating tradeoffs, and shipping changes in a setting where technical decisions are visible to others.
- $8.5M+ AUM is a dated public signal from Vedant’s involvement, not a current company metric.
